About Me

Northeastern, United States
While assessing the history of antique and vintage jewelry making, I found that its creation often follows world events. Jewelry making is an art and often expresses the designer's surroundings, influences of the time and the resources at hand. The style of these miniature works of art is a function of its historical period in time. They were created in the past and exist in the present, long after the designers are gone. This blog is a study of past jewelry designers and how their works influence current fashion trends.

Accessorize with Lots of Rings

Fashion trends have recently shown us that wearing lots of bracelets is a really fun way to accessorize. There have been beautiful vintage silver, Bakelite, gold, cloisonne, rhinestone, etc., bracelets to mix and match with your outfits. The latest trend for fall, 2010, is to do the same with rings! Lots of various types of vintage rings are available. The colors are gemstone colors such as, lapis, garnet, turquoise, etc. They go so well with the fall's colors trends of camel, antique pewter, scarlet, chocolate, sage, gray, emerald and royal purple, to name a few. Imagine your fingers full of sparkly garnet red rings with a camel coat, or a blend of turquoise, purple and red stone rings. The possibilities are endless - and fun. Rings are in for the Fall season, and lots of them!
